Parents can play many roles in sport: current or former athlete, coach, fan, motivator, role model or critic. A few studies have shown that family members may influence an athlete’s involvement and achievement in sport more than coaches. Parents also are the first and most critical agents at socializing sports.

Follow these instructions to set up your Mindbody Account:
Step 1: Click the following link to direct you to the proper login/ create login screen: WPVC MindBody
Step 2: On the right-hand side, please provide an email to be associated with your parent account.
Step 3: Fill in the “Contact Information” portion, providing First, Last name, date of birth, and address.
Step 4: Under the same “Contact Information”, proceed to answer the questions “Who is this account for?” and “What team will you or your athlete be playing on”. (If you have a second, and or third athlete playing, please provide their team with the other two questions)
Step 5: Provide an emergency contact (other than yourself) for the account.
Step 6: Go on to the next portion of “Create an Account”, “Account Information”, and once again provide your email, and choose a password you desire for your account, along with mobile number and select how you would like to receive notifications.
Step 7: Under the next portion, “Family Members”, select the text “Add Family Member, and continue you to fill out the required fields exactly with the information used to create your athletes account.
Step 8: When finished adding first athlete, save, and if you have multiple athletes, repeat the process again. (Remember to save all information)
Step 9: Once all information for the three portions is completed and saved, scroll down to read over the terms and agreement. Check the box once read over and click “Create your Account” and you’re finished.
Parents and athletes need to manage their SportsEngine accounts to ensure they get the most out of their Winter Park Volleyball Club experience during each sporting season. With their accounts properly configured, athletes and their families will receive communications according to their preferences and be able to complete registrations more efficiently. In many instances, more than one parent or guardian needs to be in the loop with a child's sports life. Using the mobile app, you can add additional guardians to an account. Guardians can 1) View games and events 2) RSVP to games and events 3) Send and receive messages to coaches and team members 4) participate in team chat
Once you've created your account, add your mobile phone so you can receive text messages from your team manager or coach.
Now that you have your mobile phone on your account, make sure you enable text messaging and any other notifications.
