Shawna Webb
Co-Director

Coach Shawna’s passion for volleyball is immediately evident to anyone who meets her. With a lifelong connection to the sport as both a player and a coach, she brings over 15 years of competitive coaching and leadership experience to WPVC, where she has been a valued member since 2011.
Shawna is deeply committed to developing athletes through a strong technical foundation. She emphasizes teaching not just the "how" but the "why" behind each skill, empowering players with the knowledge and understanding they need to grow. Her coaching philosophy centers on building a positive, competitive team culture—where athletes are challenged to push their limits, support one another, and always strive for collective success.
She believes in allowing players the space to make mistakes, learn, and grow. By fostering resilience and confidence, Shawna helps her athletes develop the mental toughness needed to excel under pressure.
Throughout her time at WPVC, Shawna has coached across all age groups and has led both girls’ and boys’ teams. Her teams have achieved significant success, including an AAU National Championship, a first-place Gold finish at the Big South Qualifier, and seven consecutive years of qualifying for USAV Nationals.
As a WPVC Director, Shawna is a cornerstone of the club's culture. She is deeply invested in the well-being of her athletes and their families, firmly believing that strong family support builds strong players. She embodies the WPVC motto: One Team, One Family.
This season, Shawna will be leading the 14 Amour Black Girls team, and she’s excited to continue developing confident, skilled, and team-minded athletes.
